Khvanchkara

Georgian appellation of origin controlled semi-sweet red wine Khvanchkara. Traditional Georgian wine made from Aleksandrouli (70%) and Mujuretuli (30%) grape varieties cultivated in the strictly regulated micro-zone of Khvanchkara, Racha-Lechkhumi region, Western Georgia. Its aromas of smoky, wild strawberry are followed on the palate by mellow blend of dried fruit, pomegranate and a touch of caramel and almonds. Though there’s plenty of lively acidity to keep it fresh and balanced.

Desserts walnut cake and soft, full flavored cheeses.
